An introduction to History

. . . in the Archaeological Museum!
Our collections covering prehistory, the Roman period and Classical Antiquity, as well as the excavations of Frankfurt's historic centre, lend themselves to talking with students about archaeological finds as a source for writing about history, or to explain excavations and archaeological research methods.

Our combined offer covers a guided tour, work-groups and experimental learning units. It can also be combined with excursions to the Archaeological Garden or to the pottery kilns of the Roman settlement of NIDA in Nordweststadt.

The lessons in the museum will be discussed with you in advance and can take place over one or two days. This is also true for afternoon lessons.
